Review of the Motorola Razr 5G

Here I am to notice a smartphone from the return to the past, today I will do the review of the Motorola Razr 5G.

Motorola is also coming back big because Lenovo is investing so much money in the smartphone market, it reminds me of the success of the 90s when together with Nokia and Erikson were the best phones around.

Motorola Razr 5G impresses with its particular shape, is foldable and in style is similar to that of 15/20 years ago, it is not the only one its competitors are Samsung Flip Z and Lg Ning.

Holding Motorola Razr 5G in your hands was a different feeling, I would say a small folding cube and pocket-sized add. The frame is stainless steel, the feeling to the touch is pleasant especially when you open the smartphone, glass is 16 mm thick and Motorola has ensured that the screen opening has been tested 200000 cycles.

Motorola Razr 5G has a 6.2-inch screen (when it is open), unfortunately it does not have the IP 68 certification for dust and water protection, given the price of 1199 dollars, they could have made an extra effort.

You don’t have to worry because during the test I was in a park and at some point it started raining, a few drops came down on the screen and nothing happened.

Motorola Razr 5G has the fingerprint reader behind the phone, it’s not the ultimate convenience depending on how it’s turned, there’s also the face ID is good but it’s not the best for a smartphone of that price. The convenience of Motorola Razr 5G is to have it in your pocket when you walk, it seems to have nothing, another detail that I like is when I took it in my hand, the phone turned on showing now and app notifications.

When Motorola is closed you can use the external screen, smoothness and speed are optimal also you can handle the interaction between external and internal screen.

The battery is 2800 mAH is poor, after doing my “stress tests” I saw that it is not up to the price, using it in 5G mode the battery heats up quickly while in 4G a little less.

If you use your smartphone for work or you are a “gamer” is not the best choice, I tell you sincerely buy another brand. Near the entrance to the charger is the Sim slot, jack is not available so I recommend you buy the headphones on Amazon.

Motorola Razr 5G’s sound is pleasant, when I made 2/3 calls I did not experience fluidity problems.

Camera is 48 megapixels while the internal one is 20 megapixels, I honestly expected much more from Motorola, pictures are good even if some colors have a strong contrast (yellow), when there is a good brightness photo is pleasant, in low light conditions does not make particularly beautiful shots.

Motorola Razr 5G engine is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 G processor with 256 Gb and 8 Gb of Ram, the memory is not expandable but if you are not an “alien” the memory space is sufficient. Don’t worry your phone is fast so performance is guaranteed.

I end this review of Motorola Razr 5G saying that it is a smartphone more for nostalgic 90s or for those who have money to spend and want to stand out by buying a fashion smartphone.

For those who love high performance and battery life I recommend Apple, OnePlus and Oppo.
