Realme X3 SuperZoom Review

Realme X3 Superzoom

Here we are with Realme X3 SuperZoom review, a smartphone of Oppo factory if you can say so, a bit like Huawei and Honor.

Let’s start from a price of 550 dollars, from my test last lasted 3 days I can tell you that Realme X3 SuperZoom is a mid-range smartphone, I found excellent reliability, optical zoom 5X periscope a rarity on phone market.

Periscopic camera is built with different lenses, with the result of having an analog zoom, without going into details pictures quality is better, in fact shots will be sharper and higher quality of printing.

Realme X3 SuperZoom box contains the 30 watt power supply, silicone cover to protect the smartphone, Usb Type-C cable, when I touched it gave me a feeling of solidity. It weighs 202 grams however in the hand almost does not feel.

Plastic material did not drive me crazy, I would have preferred the company to use something better, I add on/off button completed with fingerprint reader is good but improveable.

Processor is Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+, it’s from fall 2019 range not the top but it does its job and Realme X3 SuperZoom is very fluid and fast. Also we have 12 Gb of Ram and 256 Gb of internal memory UFS 3.0, Bluetooth 5.0, 4G/LTE connection, Wi-Fi 802.11 unfortunately lacks audio jack.

Smartphone unlocking is very fast, on the right we find on/off button integrated with fingerprint reader, display is 6.6 inches but Realme X3 SuperZoom’s strenght is refresh rate up to 120 Hz, ensuring smoothness.

Now it’s time for the 4-sensor camera:

64 megapixels f/1.8, 8 megapixels f/3.4, 8 megapixels f/2.3, 2 megapixels f/2.4, on the front there are 2 cameras with 32 megapixels f/2.5 and 8 megapixels f/2.2.

Shots’s quality is good, smartphone does its job in different light conditions, in the evening I had some problems despite the night mode. It is not a Ferrari, however, as mentioned price affects the quality.

Same feeling when I made a video in 4K, stabilization is good, we have 2 levels (standard or max), if you want a better result you have to keep your hands still.

Realme X3 SuperZoom has the Android 10 with the latest version updated in May 2020, it is very similar to the “brother” ColorOS of Oppo, you can customize menu to your liking, add gestures without problems.

Battery is 4200 mAh, with my usage lasted 25 hours in 60 Hz mode, if you use 120 Hz frequency it drops to 12 hours which is not bad. Charging is fast, 32 minutes to fill up so in Smart Working times you don’t have to worry.

I conclude this review by emphasizing smartphone reliability, Oppo is a guarantee of excellent products, in this case it is a great mid-range product.
